This blog is for those who are around me to share my world

Reflections and thoughts I have gathered for myself during my 9-month stay in China. I hope this blog will be able to bless each and everyone of you in what ever ways that God wants it to be. Children sent from heaven!

My best time spent during this trip, to my stay with these bunch of kids on the vast grassland of Yushu, Qinghai province. There, i really felt like the actress in the classic movie,"Sound of Music", haha, except the figure and the voice though...

I roamed around the plains with them, playing 'catching' and rolling on the wild flowers. We took cardboards and slide down the slopes, getting that adrenaline rush and collasping onto each other. I am glad that I did not roll over them and crush their bones! I sang songs to them, and we piggy-back each other, racing across the fields. we were surrounded by yaks and sheeps, which were indifferent to our actions and noises, and still busily eating away...

i am fed with love and that feeling of freedom. i am enriched in my spirit. and a lot of times, these children teach and give me more than i can provide to them. there are so much to learn from them! the simplicity of being just a human, the simplicity of just living the life to the basics.

epilogue

There is a great difference when you take a picture with a camera or with a heart. All the pictures show me the possibilities what this world has to offer. All we need to do is just to step out of our comfort zone and you will get the full package! I enjoy looking at the amazing beauty that lies within each picture and there are so many lessons that we can learn from nature.

although i have put up so many pieces of my horror stories while traveling in China, this place has indeed touch a nerve which is so close to my heart that memories just kept flooding in even after all these months after I'm back. when my friends asked me about my trip, i just kept rattering on, saying how fruitful it was..etc...but still, i just can't get enough vocabs to really really describe my actual feelings. only then i realised that all these experiences that i have gone through, is so difficult to describe with words...

I miss my friends I have known in China, i miss each tree and grass and every bit of the land, the land of the dragons.

my trip, has taught me many valuable lesons, lessons that can't be bought with just money alone. these lessons has changed the way i view life, and i believe they are going to sick with me for all my life. and now, i began to see china in a different light, and also began to understand why certain people behave in certain ways.

all we need is just that bit of tolerance and understanding, we will see the world in a different manner....

Just a thought...

As days go by, I am just slowly updating my blog. Hope to make it more colourful, by adding in more pictures I took while I was in China.

My friend told me that a blog must include pictures, then its more "readable". I agreed to that, because everytime when I flipped through my National Geographic magazines, I will always salivated at the pictures and sometimes, even too lazy to read through the words. In fact, I can spend only less than an hour to finish the magazine...(just by looking at the colourful pictures).

However, my dear friends, I really really encourage you to read, and hopefully, able to accompany me through this journey of my life. Although pictures speak more than a thousand words, I realised its only when you know the purpose or the hidden meaning behind these pictures, then you can really SEE the pictures, not only with your eyes, but also with your heart.
And... as always, people are attracted to things that are pleasing to the eyes, I am one of them. This long China trip made me realised that I will need more to see the depth of all these beauty. I am learning...

Every photo here tells a story. What you see here, are what I saw back there in China. I hope my pictures can let you see the depth of China, taken with my own pairs of urban and untrained eyes, and I pray that God will plant something deep in your heart.
